Eva Brune - Preservationist / Meat Packing District February 10, 2007
i just looked at your fist 41 and it looks like your off to a great start!
beautiful shots, -keep up the good work! - holland what an interesting background, it's beautiful. i love the reflection in the glass door. - cass sooo... cool perosn, neat house, and stunning reflection. one of these needs to be bad before i start flipping out. honestly though, not really, keep it up! - Josh Rothhaas - definitions.wordpress.com im a little worried the background takes too much attention away from the subject. although, it really is a stunning picture, so i cant complain. great work, really! - Tyler Orlansky I think I disagree about the background taking focus off of the subject. I'm no photographer or analyst but it seems to me that the way that the vines come of a sort of vanishing point behind her, they lead the focus to her. - Audrey She is steady and strong in her environment. With all that's going on around her, it seems by her face and stance that she is ready for it and knows something. She is part of it, sharing characteristics with it. It's like she's saying, "Welcome to my world. Let's go!"
Maybe it's the angles of everything both reflected, hanging and of the shot. But from the height of a child's perspective she looks to be ready and well aware of the territory, an authority but fun too. Yep. I get the idea I would go if her if she said to and that is would be a cool time too. - Boo - http://www.xanga.com/Boowasborn She's a preservationist -- the background is part of who she is. - Margot Avery - web.mac.com/grove.goddess Great picture. It shows the depth of the ssubject and makes you want to know her - Ralph Nash Nice cubist effect in the window. - Beautiful contrast between the sharp angles of the built environment and the twisting, curling vines - her face stands out warmly, and her big boots ground her. One of those photos that rewards second and third looks. - SarahR
I'm Bill Wadman, a New York-based photographer who after completing my first 365 Project, and then a weekly 52 Project, took it upon myself to shoot and post one portrait every day of 2007. Each photo was taken that day, and each day was a different subject. Some were be in the studio, some in the wild. Hopefully they are all interesting.
