Linus Boman - Aussie World Traveller / Bryant Park February 27, 2007
Whoa - what's this fellow sitting on?
I thoroughly enjoy your site! Thanks for all of this! - Ty Kennedy Thanks Bill, finished product looks good mate! - Linus - http://www.vagranting.com/blog/ ladies and gentleman, I give you the David Copperfield of photography! - andrea - www.andreamann.com Cool, he's floating! - Rocky Whoa... trippy...
Seriously, was that intentional? - Phil - http://whatisaw.wiredweirdness.com whoa, bizarro! - Ingrid - www.ingridspangler.com He is really good at sitting without a chair. - Danielle Ngo If you look closely between his legs you can see three parallel lines that are too straight to be cracks in the stone. The width of the lines match the support structure for the table to the right of the picture, suggesting a minimalist chair. He's probably sitting near the edge with his feet positioned to hide the legs of the chair. The most impressive bit is the lighting, where there aren't any telling shadows to be seen. A very successful illusion! - Ritchell NEAT! Cool trick!
His smile is just contagious. And the trees, they do add an element to the whole thing that is intriguing. This does remind me of those surrealist paintings in which nature calms the senses and then you realize that something else is going on. Sweet! - Boo - http://www.xanga.com/Boowasborn Ah, those little chairs in the Bryant park sometimes feel like they're nonexistent sometimes... - Jonathan - http://www.exhibit5a.com Awesome shot, except for his right hand! - Arvinder
I'm Bill Wadman, a New York-based photographer who after completing my first 365 Project, and then a weekly 52 Project, took it upon myself to shoot and post one portrait every day of 2007. Each photo was taken that day, and each day was a different subject. Some were be in the studio, some in the wild. Hopefully they are all interesting.
