Carole Simms D'Agostino - Puppeteer / Studio April 26, 2007
Dude, I really like this one. I feel like I want to get to know her and possibly some of her friends (that is, her puppets).
Really nice work Bill. This reminds me of a photographers self-portrait my teacher once showed me and it included every tool he used as an artist. There was a really old typewriter, fountain pen, medium & large format camera, scissors, his glasses, etc, all laid out on an open wood table in his studio.
I love it when objects are involved in portraits.
Seriously, nice job. - Alexander Because there is no background, you complety focus on the person and her puppet. Nice job, I love it. - Laura - http://www.lauravink.nl WOW... I love everything about this portrait - the colors are amazing, her expression and pose is so natural, just as if she was performing. Really great job Bill. - Ela Yes, I agree -- a delightful portrait. - Amber Himes - http://www.sleepyheadcity.com/awake/blog/ Makes me want to know what the puppet is saying to her.
Excellent! - Phil - http://whatisaw.wiredweirdness.com YAY! - Mary Kudos! This is a fabulously capricious portrait that really (I think, I hope!) shows the subject's personality. Wonderful! - Dan Oh, I love this! She looks so playful! - Yvonne Carts-Powell wow, i think this is one of my favorites - Joshua R - abittasty.wordpress.com I totally love this. What a sense of personality! - AL
I'm Bill Wadman, a New York-based photographer who after completing my first 365 Project, and then a weekly 52 Project, took it upon myself to shoot and post one portrait every day of 2007. Each photo was taken that day, and each day was a different subject. Some were be in the studio, some in the wild. Hopefully they are all interesting.
