Randy Reichardt - Guitarist, Engineering Librarian, NYC Wayfarer / Madison Square Park June 13, 2007
Excellent shot. Grizzled and yet respectable. And, I happen to know, he's a kick-ass guitarist.
D - Murph - http://derrylmurphy.blogspot.com Reminds me (in the most visceral way) of the band/guitar teacher at my old high school... must be a mold they press them in ... :) Great shot. I'd want to listen to what he plays or what he must have to say. - Dan (the original one) - http://studyhumannature.blogspot.com/ Great shot, great colours! One thing is bothering me, he's right eye isn't completely sharp. - Laura - http://www.lauravink.nl Hmmm....I quite like the one point of focus. A photographer named Stephan Vanfleteren shot a series of images of Belgian cyclists this way and they're absolutely AMAZING. Wonderful photo, Bill. - Julie - www.juliekimphotography.com very nicely done - Joshua R - abittasty.wordpress.com I really like his gray hair, and the fact that only one eye is really sharp, and everything is really melted and much darker... that keeps me focused on his face only! great photo! - Ela this is a great shot, interesting would best describe it - eddy - http://www.eddypriest.com He's got a GOOD LOOK doesn't he? - KB Dan, his current band (the excellently-named Hardy Drew & the Nancy Boys) is at http://www.myspace.com/hdnb. He's played folk and more conventional rock as well.
D - Murph - http://derrylmurphy.blogspot.com You have captured something of youth here. Obstinate youth! Yes, it won't leave him and he won't let it go. Those eye could be eight years old and aiming a rock in a slingshot. Nice job! - Boo - http://www.xanga.com/Boowasborn I like the the eyes position and the white hair. And the green t-shirt, green back-ground. - Victor Puig - http://www.flickr.com/photos/45street engineering guitar playing librarian beats the one in Buffy.... - Terri T
I'm Bill Wadman, a New York-based photographer who after completing my first 365 Project, and then a weekly 52 Project, took it upon myself to shoot and post one portrait every day of 2007. Each photo was taken that day, and each day was a different subject. Some were be in the studio, some in the wild. Hopefully they are all interesting.
