Dave Colton - Jazz Guitarist / Lordship Lane, London SE22 July 30, 2007
Dig the colors in the shirt and the colored lights reflecting off the guitar and street - Spamboy - http://www.spamboy.com/ purple + jazz + good photographer = great shot - Carlos Urreta - http://www.fortstreetpulse.com Ok, first of all, the colors!!! They are awesome! Second, the light... amazing! I love how it is all blurred behind Dave, but quite bright as for this time of the day on his face. Third, his expression! I love that he is not looking into the camera. It looks as if he was walking out, and you passed him by as you walked into the bar. This is how anyone would see a person walking out, and that is awesome - really natural.
And now, Bill, could you please take more of the night photos? Last one was February 20th! and it was truly gorgeous. I think we deserve more :) - Ela I love this! The colors are spectacular - makes me want to jump right in to this scene, so cool! Great job Bill, hope you are enjoying London! - Becca Brown Love this. The colors, the light, composition. - AL Oh yes, another great one. Can I be the 6th person here mention how great the colors are? OK, I will. And the guitar pick wedged into the neck, as if he just finished performing and was simply walking out the door. And how he's standing right inbetween the interior of the bar and the exterior street. And...and it's just great, Bill. Hope your having a good time in London. - nuno Love the colours on this one. Great comp too. - Ken - www.onejourney.net This is stunning, Bill. I'm so drawn in by Dave's expression. I can't imagine how you managed to capture such a look. I want to know what he's thinking about. I'm struck by the far-away look in his eyes, made more significant by the vibrancy of what's around him. It's almost like he's the only one unaware of the colours. I love this picture! - sarah Love it. Great colours and composition. An award winner IMO! - Julie - www.juliekimphotography.com London atmosphere. Excellent light as usual. - Victor Puig - http://www.flickr.com/photos/45street
I'm Bill Wadman, a New York-based photographer who after completing my first 365 Project, and then a weekly 52 Project, took it upon myself to shoot and post one portrait every day of 2007. Each photo was taken that day, and each day was a different subject. Some were be in the studio, some in the wild. Hopefully they are all interesting.
