James Burke - Maker of Connections / Barnes Bridge, London SW13 August 02, 2007
One of my heroes! And a great shot, to boot.
D - Murph - http://derrylmurphy.blogspot.com Why not the laughing one??? This one is really nice too, I like your through-the-glass photos, but the laughing one!!!!! I needed to come to this page and see him laugh. - Ela I like his wrinkles. - Kaet That THE James Burke isn't it? The man is a legend, never has anyone made science more interesting - I can still recall his revelations, the significance of the first artificial dye just one of them. Top man! - Jack Yes, it looks very serious which is at odds with his sometimes humourous and light-hearted investigations into science history. Looks VERY scholarly - which is what he is after all. - Jack just awesome on so many levels. great shot. great guy. i would have learned something in school if they had just played connections all day. - Andrew - http://www.squarewave.com The James Burke. I'm Bill Wadman, a New York-based photographer who after completing my first 365 Project, and then a weekly 52 Project, took it upon myself to shoot and post one portrait every day of 2007. Each photo was taken that day, and each day was a different subject. Some were be in the studio, some in the wild. Hopefully they are all interesting.
