David Fateman - Bike Mule / Studio August 12, 2007
Nice.
These New Yorkers amaze me daily. Check them out on YouTube... you'll see some stuff that will make your eyes churn, and make you want to lose your lunch. Trust me.
Mad Respect, David - I love the hard edged grittiness (read: reality) of this one. I almost wish the spokes poking over the right shoulder were really the spikes they at first appear to be. Hell, I'll just keep on believing they are.
:) - Dan (the original one) - http://studyhumannature.blogspot.com/ fabulous! - andrea - www.andreamann.com good picture... i like the darkness in this shot. how to take real looking pictures of real people in a studio? heck, if i'd know... eventhough david and his job are real, it doesnt look real... to bad. still a good shot. - samsplanet Awesome!!! Reminds me of that one with the microphone from end of April... your black and white photos always have so much dynamic! Great work Bill. - Ela Hardcore. Can't imagine doing this kind of job in the sweltering days of August. Or frigid February, for that matter. All of which your photo evokes. One more time: hardcore. - nuno nice one Bill! - Daniel - www.danielkrieger.com btw, I think David should get together with the woman from 27 June. - andrea - www.andreamann.com this one is amazing!!! - k it looks like a stylistic comic book. cool. - jess I think there is too much bike in the shot and not enough mule - even though it is a nice bike. I would have also like to have seen more of his face - it looks like half of NY city streets have been etched upon it.
The sweat on the shirt also looks 'sprayed' on.
Sorry to be picky but I guess I'm envious because I would have loved for you to do a similar shot of me. Naked. - Jack Bill wanted to do a naked shot but I thought it might be a bit gratuitous. Great shot Wadman!
And this andrea poster. What a kiiiiiiler voice.
-D - Dave Great "ACTION" here, It's got some texture - kb
I'm Bill Wadman, a New York-based photographer who after completing my first 365 Project, and then a weekly 52 Project, took it upon myself to shoot and post one portrait every day of 2007. Each photo was taken that day, and each day was a different subject. Some were be in the studio, some in the wild. Hopefully they are all interesting.
365 Portraits - The Book is now for sale on Blurb - Order Now!!
