i know my sister is such a colorful character - i love that this is in black and white. of her many faces, this was a great one to capture! wonderful job, bill! - k*m - http://www.kaystarr.com beauty - amanda - www.amandawoodward.com such an interesting pose, slightly awkward yet so relaxed and confident - nat - www.goddessnat.blogspot.com very, very beautiful. and interesting. a very 'grown-up' portrait... if you know what I mean. hugely professional-looking. - andrea - www.andreamann.com simply outstanding - rach Great image! Love this one. - Ken - www.onejourney.net Wonderful. Absolutely wonderful. - Jesper Laugesen - http://laugesen.org/ i really like this one. i wonder what she's hiding.... - jess She knows how to Pose. this is beautiful - kb That's the sarcastic face I've come to know so well. And thank the gods she kept her traidmark braids for this picture. Rock on Steph. - Raul The death stare at its best, dangerous and beautiful all at the same time, captured perfectly! - Danie Huge amounts of personality in this one; a very strong portrait. Love the tones. - AL The photographer personified the NYC chic "don't-even-think-about-messing-with-me", bad-ass look. The picture combines exotic cat-eye beauty & strength, mischievousness & intelligence, effortless sophistication & confidence. This picture makes you take a 2nd look and makes you want to know what is behind that 1/2 smile. - Yolette When I first saw this picture before any comments had been made, one word immediately came to mind"Interesting!!" Now I notice that word is used in several other comments. And I do like this portrait - for many of the reasons given above. However, guess I'm the only one who feels like something is missing here with the black and white. Would love to see this pertrait in living color. - Iris I love it. She is an amazing subject. She has my attention. - Gus - http://web.mac.com/gusbennettjr1 I had to come back and look at this shot again. I love it. - Gus - http://web.mac.com/gusbennettjr1 This looks like something William Mortenson would have done. Good. - John Andrews My typo: Should be William Mortensen. Photographer and artist in the 30's and 40's. My father sold slides of his pictures. - John Andrews What a difference .

I'm Bill Wadman, a New York-based photographer who after completing my first 365 Project, and then a weekly 52 Project, took it upon myself to shoot and post one portrait every day of 2007. Each photo was taken that day, and each day was a different subject. Some were be in the studio, some in the wild. Hopefully they are all interesting.
