That's the sarcastic face I've come to know so well. And thank the gods she kept her traidmark braids for this picture. Rock on Steph.
- Raul

The death stare at its best, dangerous and beautiful all at the same time, captured perfectly!
- Danie

Huge amounts of personality in this one; a very strong portrait. Love the tones.

The photographer personified the NYC chic "don't-even-think-about-messing-with-me", bad-ass look. The picture combines exotic cat-eye beauty & strength, mischievousness & intelligence, effortless sophistication & confidence. This picture makes you take a 2nd look and makes you want to know what is behind that 1/2 smile.

When I first saw this picture before any comments had been made, one word immediately came to mind"Interesting!!" Now I notice that word is used in several other comments. And I do like this portrait - for many of the reasons given above. However, guess I'm the only one who feels like something is missing here with the black and white. Would love to see this pertrait in living color.

I love it. She is an amazing subject. She has my attention.

This looks like something William Mortenson would have done. Good.
- John Andrews

My typo: Should be William Mortensen. Photographer and artist in the 30's and 40's. My father sold slides of his pictures.
