Wesley Stace, John Wesley Harding | Novelist, Singer-Songwriter / Fort Greene Park November 24, 2007
I never heard of him, but I can imagine what kind of music he makes thanks to the wonderful photo.... - Tim - http://www.741231.com I like the way the colours in his top tie in with the colours of the trees and leaves in the background and the sun through the clouds. - anon Very cool. I think I have one of his albums...
Once again, great photo. - Adam- 11/2- that clown guy - http://www.trainedfleas.com One of my favorite singer-songwriters. And, in recent years, one of my favorite authors. His creative personality shines through in your photograph.
You've created a great project here. I imagine I'll be coming back often to see your new photographs and to review your previous days work.
Take care!
James - James Curtis Smith - http://www.justjames.org Lovely autum colors ! - Victor Puig - http://www.flickr.com/photos/45street A great photo of Wes. Love the autumn colors - hard to believe that's Brooklyn! - Tony Pinto - www.tonypinto.net Good to see this excellent project featuring my favorite singer-songwriter of all time.
And, as with the poster above, I also loved his novel Misfortune. - James a fantastic photo of one of the most generous, funny, brilliant and all-around decent humans beings i've ever known. one hell of a great writer who just happens to be a stunning singer/songwriter/musician to boot. blah blah blah.
seriously, a great portrait of a great guy! - mike shriver - www.dadanation.blogspot.com Like a fine wine, Wes ages well.
Can it be almost 20 years ago that those same eyes stared out from that first bright red album cover looking as young as a baby lamb?
This photo shows the same person, older yes, but with the same playfulness in his eyes.
Bravo - russ turk Great photo. If you get a chance, see JWH live. He is my favorite performer. - Matt
I'm Bill Wadman, a New York-based photographer who after completing my first 365 Project, and then a weekly 52 Project, took it upon myself to shoot and post one portrait every day of 2007. Each photo was taken that day, and each day was a different subject. Some were be in the studio, some in the wild. Hopefully they are all interesting.
