Sarah Lizbet - Appearing As Herself / London SE22 July 26, 2007
Sarah, you look stunning... I also love the setting and the shadows on this one sooo much. modern, yet utterly classic. bravo to you both! - andrea - www.andreamann.com mmmmmhhhhh.... - samsplanet Sarah, you beat me to it. I would have loved for Bill to do a similar shot of me but somehow I doubt that even Bill could make my farmer's tan from Hell and my bicycle/car interface bruises look quiet as beautiful.
Chapeau! - Jack Hunt Great setting, altough a NSFW (not safe for work) warning would have been nice. - Spamboy - http://www.spamboy.com/ @Spamboy
if this, in this sites context, is considered nsfw... i'd think about changing jobs ;-) - samsplanet There are some lovely comments on here. Thank you. Bill certainly made me feel very relaxed.
I'd like to add a quick note about why I posed naked. I'm comfortable with my body but I'm not a natural exhibitionist, and I don't want the world to think I did it gratuitously, not that Bill would have let me! Naked without a reason, no, that wouldn't have been a portrait of me at all.
I posed naked because I wanted to celebrate my body as it is now, aged 35. It's a kind of thank you to it, from me, at what seems to me to be such a significant age for me, maybe for many women. I can see how the shape has softened, filled out a bit, in the last five years, and I'm now begining to think about how the next decade or so will leave it's imprint. New love, children, ageing, it all lies ahead (hopefully!). I plan to still know Billy when I'm 45, so we can do it all over again. I'd like that. - Sarah What a beautiful picture and a beautiful comment by the subject above. Sarah, I know exactly what you mean -- I'm about to turn 35 myself & am thrilled how it all just seems to get better & better. Well done (& said)! - nuno Thank you Nuno. Happy forthcoming birthday :-) - Sarah ...i thought you looked preoccupied, but actually you're looking out of the window aren't you ? is it new love, paying you a surprise visit ? - Mr F. Panda Yes, I'm looking out this time, not in :-). And, hey, I think I know you... - Sarah Stunning... If she is 35 and looks like this, I want to be her... as for the photo... looks like that model in the card you have on your wall... only prettier, as Sarah actually had body and that model has only bones... really nice that you finally took a totally nude photo Bill. I love it!!! - Ela Jakiela I really like this shot and enjoyed reading and contemplating the comments left by Sarah. Well done Bill. Well done Sarah. A fruitful collaboration. - Ken - www.onejourney.net As someone turning 35 next week, and as someone Bill shot on June 5th, you give me hope, Sarah, that 35 won't be as bad as I'm expecting it to be. Wonderful photo, simply beautiful subject. - Peter - www.prdifferently.com Ah, that's a very kind comment Peter, thank you. How nice to meet another 365-er, and how lovely to have given you hope :-). Hey, dont fear 35, there's no need. It can be a beautiful age - you're old enough to know what kills your spirit and young enough to leave those things behind and set out afresh with a smile. You have a great photo too. Such an expressive face. - Wow, that's beautiful. - Kaet Mr. Wadman,
Great photos here buddy. So different than a year ago or even 6 months.
And no, you can't take photo's of my gherkin just in case you were wondering. -D - Fatty o please - I liked your photos but this one caught my eye. I enjoyed reading the comments and say "Well Done", Sarah. J - Joe Yes, great setting and well composed. Sarah, you are stunning. I'd be all over you, if I could be so lucky. - Bri
I'm Bill Wadman, a New York-based photographer who after completing my first 365 Project, and then a weekly 52 Project, took it upon myself to shoot and post one portrait every day of 2007. Each photo was taken that day, and each day was a different subject. Some were be in the studio, some in the wild. Hopefully they are all interesting.
