Professor Bob Baxter - Master Entertainer Extraordinaire / London Terrace Towers November 09, 2007
There's my Bobby! You did it, Bill. Damn. - Ingrid - www.ingridspangler.com What a great portrait. I enjoy the out of focus city view, the wide window sills and the shadow of the wall contrasted with th dark suit. His face looks innocent enough, but his magnificent eyes tell of lots of experience and his smirk of a smile hints of micheviousness. He can show you many tricks with those cards, but guard yourself if he asks you to take a bet because I bet he would win! - Julie I too like this portrait-- the subject (of course) but also the angles-- the window open, the wall akilter,
Nothing is at it seems, which is how a magician's portrait should be. - Adam-- 11/2! - htp://www.trainedfleas.com Oops-- I posted a bad home page! Sorry. - Adam-- 11/2! - www.trainedfleas.com What an expression you captured on his face. Very well done. - Mikey absolutely, without a doubt, one of my favorites.
his eyes!!! oh what a story to tell.
an amazing portrait.
everything about it and him. - story - prettylittlemess.wordpress.com Great, great shot. Wow.
I really thought the balance between him and the window was very polished. And like others have commented, you've gotten a great shot of him in time. His eyes and smirk tell a deep story.
He looks like a "real character". One for the coffee table book for sure here.
Dave Marcotte - Dave Marcotte - www.provideolighting.com That is Great! - Alexander Yelagin - http://www.flickr.com/photos/peasant/ I like the detail of the deck of cards. - Danielle I don't know him (I live on the other side of the world) and this made me tear up. His raised eyebrows, the eyes looking straight at you, his pursed lips, the detail on his hands... This is beautiful. You get people, Bill. - Lisa - http://www.beyondmegapixels.com I couldn't quite make it out, then I noticed the queen ...
Nice! - John Andrews Older people = More Interesting
Younger people = Less Interesting - Jack This is such a beautiful photo. He looks like he has so many stories to tell and that he's ready to go out with a bang in his suit. So much character, wisdom and innosense here. Love it - Tiffany Anne Oh my goodness. I don't know this man, but I totally love him. You really caught an inner life here. Great stuff. - AL ingrid look what bill did. bob looks AMAZING - KB
I'm Bill Wadman, a New York-based photographer who after completing my first 365 Project, and then a weekly 52 Project, took it upon myself to shoot and post one portrait every day of 2007. Each photo was taken that day, and each day was a different subject. Some were be in the studio, some in the wild. Hopefully they are all interesting.
