Dennis James - Aussie In Awe / Grand Canyon, AZ October 06, 2007
I love the palette. Rich and warm. - ryn Great use of depth of field. Could use a higher f stop and make the canyon sharper, but that would detract from the mans own rugged features and draw the eye away from the subject. Good pic. He doesn't trust you, though! - John Andrews excellent - you found another aussie. - carolina - www.carolynannahall@blogspot.com For a second I didn't notice the chicken wire and thought he was holding a shotgun. Makes for a whole different feel. Great shot either way. - Jn Carved. The blur of the canyon play perfect compliment to his features. A visual metaphor for depth in the subject. I suppose that is what was intended. All the colors work to make is face float like a legend there. - Boo - http://www.xanga.com/Boowasborn love the framing, love the warm tones of the image - Photo Traces - http://www.phototraces.net/
I'm Bill Wadman, a New York-based photographer who after completing my first 365 Project, and then a weekly 52 Project, took it upon myself to shoot and post one portrait every day of 2007. Each photo was taken that day, and each day was a different subject. Some were be in the studio, some in the wild. Hopefully they are all interesting.
